Bilibili video to text: transcripts and summaries of Bilibili videos

Paste a Bilibili video link. Framedistill extracts subtitles or runs speech recognition, builds a timestamped transcript, and summarizes the video chapter by chapter. Useful for Chinese lectures and talks when you want to read instead of watch.

How it works

  1. Copy the Bilibili link

Copy the video page URL from the address bar.

  2. Paste it into Framedistill

Subtitles and speech recognition are compared, the more reliable one becomes the transcript.

  3. Read and ask

Read chapter summaries, search the transcript, ask questions about the content.

Good to know

Transcripts keep the video's original language. You can ask questions in English about a Chinese video. Members-only and login-required videos may not be importable.

FAQ

Which video sources are supported?

Paste a YouTube or Bilibili video URL, or upload a local video or audio file (MP4, MOV, MKV, WebM and common audio formats). Whether a link can be fetched depends on the platform and its access rules; videos that require a login may not import.

How accurate are the transcripts and summaries?

Accuracy depends on audio quality, accents, background noise and the quality of the original captions. AI transcription and summaries can be wrong, so every summary links back to a timestamp: click it to check the original before you quote a point or a number.

Is Framedistill free?

You can sign up for free. AI features such as transcription, chapter summaries and Q&A are limited by your plan and available credits, which you can check on the account credits page after signing in. It is not unlimited.
